Summer Games Camp Scholarship

The Summer Games Camp Scholarship Fund exists to provide help to those who might otherwise be financially excluded from attending camp. Scholarships will be granted only to those who need financial assistance beyond what is available locally. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and they are non-transferrable.

All scholarship applications are reviewed by the Board of Directors no sooner than March 1st prior to camp. In order for a scholarship application to be eligible for review, the camper listed on the scholarship application must be fully registered before any scholarship can be granted. Depending on when the Board of Directors meet and the amount of funds that are available, it is possible that scholarship applications may not be reviewed until as late as May. We appreciate your patience while we review these applications. You may follow up with the Camp Registrar at any time for the status of your scholarship application; however, we promise that we will update you as soon as we have reviewed the application.

The maximum scholarship that may be granted will be no more than the remaining balance for the cost of camp after the $50 non-refundable deposit is paid and any other discounts are applied.
For example, the total cost of camp is $400. A camper registers in December and receives the Early Bird discount of $50. After the $50 deposit is paid and the $50 discount is applied, the maximum amount that may be granted will be $300.
